Fort Mosquito - Salute 2017

Of course I and my Swedish matey and expert terrainbuilder Jan will run a demonstration game at Salute 2017. Especially exiting as we will use my and Dan Merseys rules The Pikeman´s Lament.

Fort Mosquito are a game that revolvers around the dubious attack by the Dutch of the New Sweden colony along the lower reaches of the Delaware river in American during the mid 17th century.

We will have help runing the game by Jesper, Andy, Steve and Colin and you can see us all at GA12 - to the right when you enter from the queue area so you should not be able to dodge us;)

  2. I'm currently reading a book by Alf Åberg "Folket i Nya Sverige". Nya Sverige is a perfect setting for an exciting PL campaign. Swedes, Dutch, English, Native Americans...what's not to like? I hope you'll be posting plenty of pics on your blog. Lycka till!

  4. Ohh... neat idea.

I cannot find any information on it now but if my memory serves me right there where a special miniature made of a Dutchman in Swedish service or something along those lines. He was a special miniature from an event like Tactica or Gubbspel Galore or something, he would fit in perfectly. If you could track him down or even more impotently that this isn't something I just dreamt... I cant find anything about him now.

    1. Q: is it possible to set the game up on any Swedish convention.

A: sorry i don't think that is possible as all the extensive terrain are built in the UK... But it might be possible to set it up on another UK gameshow... Hmmm... We Will see...
