Swedish house with traditional picket fence

I have got me a Prepainted Pegasus Russian Timber house from my friend Jonas that I now have Swedenised a bit, as well as I painted me some Perry Picket fence in the traditional "Falu Röd".

They will all be used for our "A Very Moderate Swedish Conflict" project.

My first thought was to get a brick roof but it feelt as to much work at the moment, so I might build me a completly new roof at some stage.

Swedish Picket Fence, you find some real life pictures here.

  3. Looks terrific, Michael, looks very Swedish, to me. Could I ask where you got the bridge sides from? They might suit some Roman projects. Best, Simon

    1. Thanks Simon !

The bridge sides are from the Airfix Pontoon bridge kit.

  4. I've noticed how the Pegasus houses look almost Swedish before, but you improve them even more. And those picket fences look very good in red too, didn't think about that.

  6. Excellent Michael! I can feel the "fikasug" just looking at the pictures.

It'll look even better with a traditional tile roof when you get round to it.

    1. As it was already prepainted in dark brown I just drybruched it first with Vallejo Model Color "Cavalry Brown" no: 137 and them one more drybruch with Vallejo Model Color "Vermillion" no: 028.

For the white parts I used Vallejo Model Color "Buff" no: 120 and on top of that "Ivory" no: 005
