WIP Crusader Knights

As the Heathens are finished I now working on the 2 last units of Swedish Crusaders, 12 ledung soldiers and also 6 Knighs.

Here are a WIP of the Knighs and the Banner for the Knights.

  3. Yes, beautiful banner. For the riders, it looks like you glue them together then paint. I have always done it this way but am beginning to question why. I have been reading that some feel it is faster to do rider and horse separately. Care to share your thoughts?

    1. Thanks Sean.

      For me it is defently faster and easyer to asamble the rider and mount first, especially as you get less "area" to paint:)

      But when think about it I painted my TYW cavalry, some 50ish horses I painted them separatly from the raiders, spray painted all horses brown, wash and some quick highlights...

      So my conclusion are few minis...I glue them together...bulk painting...I do them separately:)
